Wet Carpet Drying
Subfloor specific treatment to ensure proper drying and no mould formation
Flooded and water affected carpet can become a problem for households and businesses alike. Whilst the initial instinct for most people may be to simply open a window or operate some fans or heaters, dealing with wet carpet is somewhat more complicated than what it initially appears.
Outside of the obvious water marks which may remain, there are further complications in ensuring that mould does not occur in the underlay or subfloors, causing potential long-term issues with the building. There are multiple underlay and subfloor types, each of which have their own best method for removal or drying. This is typically beyond the realm of a carpet cleaner or ‘DIYer’.
FloodMaster has the experience to determine if a carpet is likely to be salvageable, as well as ensuring the most efficient way to do so, whilst also ensuring that structural drying and mould prevention is completed. It is our prompt action and experience combined with our specialised equipment that ensures that we can bring your home or business back to normal and safe to inhabit or operate from, within a matter of hours, with most work completed in just a few short days.
We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including public holidays.
